Trusted Data Transaction

Be Aware of the Impacts of the Future Trusted Data Transaction Standardization

Building trust and enhancing interoperability within and across data spaces are key goals of the European strategy for data. As new data legislations take effect and multiple European data space initiatives are in motion, standards emerge as essential tools to achieve those goals.

While standardising data exchanges in trade transactions is not new, the novelty in the data economy is that data itself becomes the object of the transaction.

Join the European Commission, data experts, and practitioners for insightful keynotes, presentations, and engaging roundtable discussions to understand what are the benefits of trusted data transactions for your business and how standardisation can unlock new opportunities for growth and collaboration.

EU Commission

Participate in this exceptional event, and learn about:

- The European data strategy and the policy initiatives based thereon

- The EU standardisation approach, including the definition of a EU Trusted Data Framework

- The results of the CEN Workshop on Trusted Data Transaction (Part 1), which is a contribution-based collaborative effort from a highly representative group of organisations from the associative, corporate, and institutional world. This workshop sets the foundations for defining the characteristics of trust in a data transaction and the criteria to measure it.

- How the standardisation of trusted data transactions complements and enhances other standardisation initiatives, reference architectures and trust frameworks building, for the benefit of data spaces and their participants.
